Kleanthis Malialis received his MEng in Computer Systems and Software Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the Department of Computer Science at the University of York, UK in 2010 and 2014 respectively. His PhD focus was on multiagent reinforcement learning and investigated its applicability to network intrusion response. He subsequently joined the Department of Computer Science at University College London (UCL) as a Research Associate, part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between UCL and a big data analytics startup. He then went on to join The Telegraph as a Data Scientist where his focus was on building predictive models using machine learning algorithms.
