Chrystalleni Christodoulou is a researcher at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence at the University of Cyprus since February 2019. Chrystalleni has received her BSc degree in Applied Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Cyprus in 2017. During her undergraduate studies, worked as a researcher at NIREAS-IWRC on topics related to the vulnerability assessment of urban water distribution networks. In 2018 Chrystalleni received her MSc degree in Operational Research with Data Science from the University of Edinburgh, UK. Her Master Thesis was a project of the Edinburgh Airport, which focused on the optimization of the Outbound Baggage Handling System. The project’s objective was the optimal allocation of flights to make-up positions, reducing the number of bags delivered at the early bag store, implementing algorithms by the use of the XPRESS-IVE Optimization Software.
